Terms and Conditions

 

  1. GENERAL SPA TERMS

1A. All bookings are subject to our full terms and conditions.

1B. It is the responsibility of the client to read and agree to the terms before making an appointment. When an appointment is made you are agreeing to our full terms and conditions.

1C. All terms and conditions are subject to change, we hold the right to amend terms and conditions at any time.

1D. You may wish to obtain a copy of our terms and conditions for you own records, you can download and print our terms and conditions directly from our website, and alternatively you may wish for us to post you a copy for your records.

1E.  You are responsible for all of your belongings.  Please keep them safe and use the lockers provided in the changing rooms.  We will not be held responsible for your losses.

1F.  If you have a Spa Day pass and use the gym equipment, please ask for advice on how to use the equipment if you are unsure.  You should always consult your physician or other healthcare provider before changing your diet or starting an exercise program.  By using the gym, you understand that there is a risk of injury associated with participating and using Binswood Hall Gym.  You assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses and damages that you incur while attending, exercising or participating in Binswood Hall Gym. You waive all claims against Binswood Hall Gym, its instructors, or partners of individually or otherwise, for any and all injuries, claims or damages that you might incur.

1G.  Please do not bring your own food or alcohol for consumption within the premises, this includes the Spa, pool, garden, bistro and restaurant.  Persons doing so will be asked to leave.

 

  1. BOOKINGS AND APPOINTMENTS

2A. bookings can be made in person, via email or over the phone.

2B. all appointments are subject to our 48 and 24 hour cancellation policy. These can be found in section 4.

2C. to complete a booking we require the client’s full name along with a contact number and an email address.

2D. although we can provide walk-in appointments, we would strongly advise for appointments to be made in advance to avoid disappointment

2E. Treatment times and lengths are only approximate. These are subject to change.

2F. We do reserve the right to refuse service to any persons.

2G. Our therapists do work constant throughout the day and will often have more clients in for treatments, due to this we do ask that you be prompt and on time for all of your treatments. Arriving late will result in your treatment time being reduced, but the full amount of the treatments due will still be charged.

2H. appointments over 60 minutes will require a 50% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit.

2I.  A full consultation prior to treatment will be carried out to assess health, conditions  and wellbeing.  If you have a contraindication that would prevent treatment, we will not carry out treatment and no refunds will be given.  Please check you if you have any of the following conditions and consult with your doctor or consultant to check if treatment is suitable for you.

 

  1. ARRIVAL TIMES

3A. We ask all clients to arrive 5 minutes prior to appointment time, and wait in reception or the allocated relaxation area.  You will be collected prior to treatment.

3B. Arriving late will result in your treatment/ spa day being reduced, but the full amount of treatments due will be charged.

 

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY

4A. We hold a 48 and 24 hour cancellation and rescheduling policy for all spa treatments. A cancellation of a treatment must be notified by telephone before 48 hours prior to your treatment or a 50% surcharge of the original price will be charged.  A cancellation of less than 24 hours will result in a 100% surcharge of the original price to be charged. When rescheduling please give a minimum of 48 hours’ notice or you may be requested to pay an additional rebooking fee to keep the appointment.

4B.  If you have prepaid your treatments and are needed to cancel we will give a full refund providing you have given 48 hours notice prior to your appointment, if less than 48 hours notice is given you will lose 50% of the prepaid value. If less the 24 hours you will not be entitled to a refund.

4C. If you have paid a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, and cancel your booking you will lose your deposit. Deposits are non-transferable.

4D. Spa Days are subject to our 14 day cancellation policy. If you require to cancel your spa day, we will give you the opportunity to reschedule free of charge, providing you have given us 14 days prior notice. If you provide less than 14 days your spa day will be charged fully, or alternatively you will be required to pay a booking fee of £25 per person to reschedule.

 

  1. SPA DAYS

5A. Spa days are subject to our 14 day cancellation policy (see section 4)

5B. Spa days require full payment at the time of booking.

5C. with all spa bookings we require debit/credit card details to secure the booking.

5D. when booking spa days we require a contact number and an email address

5E. in the unlikely event that we would need to reschedule your spa day, we would do this free of charge for a suitable time in the future. Should you not be able to reschedule we will give you a refund.

5F. Spa Day guests will have full use of our swimming pool and gym facilities.

5G. Valid Tuesday – Saturday only

5H. Spa Days are non-refundable

5I. Spa offers cannot be redeem by gift vouchers, unless Spa Day specifically mentioned on the voucher.

5J.  Treatment times are only approximate.

5K.  We reserve the right to cancel and amend our spa offers at any time.

5L.  Subject to availability

5M. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offer.

5N. There are no further discounts to be applied on spa offers.

5O. Should your treatment require you to shower, please note our showering facilities are within the changing rooms.

5P. Robes must not be worn in the restaurant, bistro or garden areas of the Hall and grounds,  you must be fully dressed to use these areas.

5Q. Group bookings must have a lead name who is over 25 years of age and will take full responsibility whilst onsite and for the booking arrangements and duration of stay.

5R. Group bookings must respect Binswood Hall is part of a retirement village and act in an appropriate manner, respecting the owners/residents who live onsite.  Noise must be kept to a minimum.

 

  1. GIFT VOUCHERS

6A. Gift vouchers are valid 3 months from the date of purchase

6B. Gift vouchers can only be redeemed against the treatment price on our brochures.

6C. Gift Vouchers must be treated as cash and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

6D. NO VOUCHER NO TREATMENT (Or you will have to pay the full amount)

6E. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed against spa offers and promotions unless Spa Day is specifically stated on the voucher

6F. Should you require an extension on your gift voucher there will be an extension charge of £25.  In order to be extended, we must be advised before the card expires. 

6G. On the date of expiry, the amount on the voucher will be reset to zero and all cash/monies left will be lost. We have no control over this and cannot be held liable for the loss of credit on the voucher.

6H. Gift vouchers can only be purchased via us directly.

6I. Gift vouchers are non refundable.

 

  1. COURSES OF TREATMENT

7A. Courses of treatment may be purchased in advance

7B. These will consist of a discount being applied when paying in full for a course of 6 treatments or more.

7C.  A pass will be issued on the day of purchase on our client management system.

7D.  The 48 hour and 24 hour cancellation policy will be applied in full as it would for any other treatments booked.

7E.  Only treatments specified at the time of purchase can be redeemed with the pass – 1 hour treatments: Prescriptive Facial, Reflexology, BNS Plus, Pregnancy Massage, Emmett Technique

 

  1. WHAT TO BRING?

8A. Should you be paying via voucher, then please ensure the voucher is present- failure to produce the voucher will result in full payment being charged

8B. If you are using the spa facilities please ensure you bring a bathing suit, and a spare set of underwear (or a dry bathing suit) for treatment. This is for your comfort during your treatment.

8C. Spa days – we do provide you with a towel, gown and slippers/flip flops.  We do limit to just one towel per client to help us reduce our carbon footprint. All items must be returned, otherwise a charge will be incurred to cover the loss.  Gown: £40, Slippers: £3

8D. We provide hairdryers in the changing rooms

8E.  Please bring a £1 coin to operate the lockers in the changing rooms.
